Breast Implant Illness (BII)
Breast Implant Illness (BII) is a condition that affects some women with breast implants, manifesting through physical and emotional symptoms that can be debilitating. Although a specific cause has not been identified, it is believed to be related to an immune response to the material in the implants or the capsule that forms around them.
Common symptoms of BII:
● Headaches, muscle, joint and stomach pains.
